Prime Tourism in Belo Horizonte

When we set out to create prime tourism in Belo Horizonte, combining the traditional and the modern, we envisioned a city planned in the 19th century that evolved and developed its identity through the curves of Oscar Niemeyer, the brushstrokes of Candido Portinari, and the sculptures of Alfredo Ceschiatti in the 1940s.

We designed itineraries highlighting the works of great Brazilian artists alongside the city’s traditional neoclassical architecture, imported during its early development. This connection between European heritage and Brazilian creativity forms the foundation of our personalized tours in Belo Horizonte.

The blend of formal European influence and contemporary Brazilian expression creates a highly pleasant urban experience, inspiring us to include these attractions in our vision of bespoke tourism in the city.

The iconic Pampulha Modern Ensemble, designed during the Juscelino Kubitschek era, brings together artists such as Oscar Niemeyer, Candido Portinari, Alfredo Ceschiatti, Roberto Burle Marx, and others, resulting in masterpieces like the Church of São Francisco de Assis, the Casino, the Yacht Club, and the Casa do Baile. It is no coincidence that Pampulha is recognized as a symbol of Minas Gerais identity and a landmark of the Brazilian Modernist Movement.

All of this, combined with other parts of the city such as the charming Savassi district, the elegant Mangabeiras neighborhood, visits to craft breweries, contemporary art exhibitions, and the Mercado Central—an iconic space that brings together the gastronomic culture and traditional crafts of Minas Gerais—makes our city tour a truly personalized experience in Belo Horizonte.
